thesun.com – A PALE young woman appears at the window of a ruined castle – in a photo said to show a GHOST.

The spooky snap was taken at a building hailed as one of Britain’s most haunted.

And the shadowy girl appears to be on the first floor, in what used to be a magnificent banquet hall.

The floor in that room crumbled away years ago, meaning there is nothing for a person to stand on.

Company boss Kevin Horkin took the photo at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, North Wales, but only saw the ghostly figure when he downloaded his pictures later. [Full Article w/ Pic]

A ghostly image appears is it real?

stuff.co.nz – An Invercargill man has taken a photograph that could be proof of the afterlife, or it could be a cloud – who knows?

Andrew Watters travelled to St Bathans, near Alexandra, with his partner Kim Ward during the weekend in search of the spirits that reputedly haunt its buildings.

“I’d always been nagging my Kim to go and have a look at the Vulcan Hotel and its supposed ghost, hoping we would find something.”

That search turned up short.

“I had a beer at the pub and got goosebumps but I think it was just the excitement.”

The pair took plenty of photos and didn’t think they had anything until a friend spotted a shape with an uncanny resemblance to a woman in the window at the post office, he said. [Full Article w/ Pic]

Does this photo show the ghost of two children nearly 60 years apart?

The family who took this picture while on a ghost tour in Picton, NSW,  swear there were no children inside the St Mark’s Cemetery.

Which begs the question: who, or what, is out there?

Local legend has it that the two children are David Shaw and Blanche Moon, who died 60 years apart.

Blanche was crushed to death in 1886 when a pile of sleepers that she and a number of children were playing on slipped.

David was the son of a minister who died in 1946 from polio.

The woman behind the lens of this mysterious photo, Renee English, said she was “a sceptic” before undertaking the ghost tour on January 9.

“When we were standing at the bank looking into the Cemetery I was just snapping away and making jokes about the whole thing and asking when the ghosts were going to come out,” the Port Macquarie resident said. [Full Article w/ Full Pic]

This photo was taken at Corroboree Rock at Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia in 1959. What does not seem to be a trick of light and shadow is a human form, semi-transparent, wearing what looks like a long white dress or gown. More curious, the figure seems to be holding something in the manner that a person holds a camera or binoculars.

One posssibility is that this is a double exposure of a living person. In
1959, this image would have been captured on film.

If it is not a double exposure and this is a spirit captured on film, then a number of questions arise: What is the entity looking and why? Do they have cameras and binoculars in the afterlife? Or is this an instance of a time slip in which the camera has recorded a scene from a different time?

It has even been speculated that this figure might actually be a time traveler or interdimentional being, who has been photographed in the act of watching us!

A very interesting ghost photo taken in may 2008 at Tantallon castle, it captures a figure in period dress wearing a ruff gazing out of the window at the ruined castle.
